My name is John-Pierre Cornelissen. I attended a complete hospitality school. I started at the SKB in Eindhoven, the School for Consumptive Professions, or “cook school. I took the direction of cooking & serving there, as you can see in the picture above 😁 can you find me? Then I did a secondary course in hospitality and facility services and finally I graduated from the Hotel School of Maastricht.

When I was about fourteen years old, I started working in the hospitality industry to make a little extra money.
I worked in a cafeteria, a pancake house, a large self-service restaurant and in an upscale restaurant.
I ran parties, was a receptionist and night auditor in a hotel, manager of a youth center with café, restaurant and concert hall and was rooms division manager of a bungalow park.

In the 1990s, computers and the Internet became increasingly important to the hospitality industry. I became interested in the combination of hospitality and automation, and I made a career switch. I went to work at a hospitality automation company, installing and configuring software, providing training and support, and monitoring software quality as a tester. In my spare time, I learned to create websites, read and read a lot about online marketing and use a lot of social media. I love to try things out and test them, love to help with automation problems and keep going until everything is perfect. Because good is never good enough.

I work with partners who also all have a hospitality background.
Together we are hospitality specialists in web design, consulting and concept development, text and communications, email marketing, online marketing, photography and video marketing.

I know the hospitality industry and the technology behind it inside and out.
I understand you.
I speak your language and can translate that into the language of the Internet.
