The most visited page of a hotel website is the menu. It makes sense, because before you choose a restaurant, you want to know what’s on the menu. In fact, a study by OpenTable concluded that as many as 93% of people view menus online before dining out. Therefore, it is essential that that menu be easy to open and easy to read. Unfortunately, this is often not the case.
The menu then appears as a PDF file on the website. Usually the same one you get as a printed version at the restaurant. This is easy for you because it’s faster to put a PDF on your website than to type all of it on your website.
Still, I recommend you put the menu as plain text on your website and not as a PDF.
A PDF file is not suitable for a Web site. It is not made for online use and not user-friendly for your guests.
